CIDA University

CIDA City Campus gets an enthusiastic thumbs up from its 1600 students. They call it "almost perfect", a "a home" and "a great institution."

CIDA (Community and Individual Development Association) was established to serve the post-secondary educational needs of top matriculants who could not afford University and were doomed to umemployment. It offers an accredited 4-year Business Administration degree and partners with business to ensure that the best of courses in Marketing, Finance, Investments, Human Resources, Entrepreneurship and Information/Communications Technology are provided. Serving students from all over South Africa, CIDA provides dormitories, extracurricular activities and a requirement for community services. "Uplifting Africa by giving back to communities" is an important aspect of CIDA's quality of life.

Relying on outside financial support to cover costs, CIDA offers a "virtually free" University to the high-energy young people who attend.
